Mother’s Day takes place Sunday, May 8, this year. This holiday can be traced back to the ancient Greeks and Romans, who held festivals in honor of the mother goddesses Rhea and Cybele. Nowadays, it’s known as Mother’s Day, adapted from the early Christian festival known as “Mothering Sunday.” Here is a guide on what to buy for those special ladies in your life – including you!
