This elegant hand-carved pedestal is a work of art in itself. Carved with beautiful details such as intricate cutout accents at each corner of the top and scroll and leaf accents along the paneled sides and scrolling legs. Rich cherry-stained finish. Solid and composite wood. 13 3/4" sq. x 38" h.

Wow! If you are in doubt, stop that & buy this!
Looking at the dimensions, I wasn't expecting such a substantial piece of furniture. But once it was unpacked we were in aw. We purchased 2, one for each side of our front door. Our entry is 2 stories high and our front door is 12' tall, so I was worried that these would look small; everything looks small there, but they fit perfectly. The carving looks nice. There was a little dent/scratch on each top but I just used furniture color to cover them and put that side to the wall out of sight. We are planning to purchase a square piece of glass to top each of these in order to preserve the wood, then we will dress them with a beautiful plant. You really will be surprised by just how stunning these look in person. They are impressive, especially for the price. I would expect to pay 4x or 5x more now that I see them.
