If your social calendar has a few upcoming events that require you to dress up and turn on the charm for the evening, there is no need to fret. You can keep the compliments flowing all night long with these easy styling tricks.

The Oh-So Popular Peplum
Whether it’s a top or a dress, the new go-to style is a peplum.  What is peplum? It’s a short overskirt, or ruffle attached at the waistline of a jacket, top, or dress. At first women thought the style just added extra padding around the waist or hips, but we all soon learned the right peplum can add flattering shape. It’s important that whatever you wear below the peplum is a defined shape, like a pencil skirt or a pair of sleek trousers. Here we gave a classic sheath a makeover by just adding a little peplum flair.

Prints Charming
Prints and unique textures are perfect for when we need a “Where did you get that?” wardrobe boost. Figure-loving knits, chiffon, or woven jacquard are favorites for any occasion.  Accessories can also come with special surprises, such as a sliding cross and heart emblem dangling from a scarf or dazzling colored stones in some fabulous hoops.

Flirty & Fun
Depending on the occasion, wearing lace is the most feminine and elegant. Lace is perceived as sensual and intimate, so it’s perfect for a date night or cocktail hour. Whether it’s just some lace touches placed within your top or dress or as the entire top with a layer underneath, you will take your look to the next level. Even with simple black trousers, the compliments are sure to flow.

A Whole New Look
Your appearance – from what you wear to how you style your hair sends a message to the outside world. When you want to send a brand new message and exude confident style, a wig can do just the trick. If you’ve never tried a wig, there’s an easy trick to putting one on. Separate hair into sections on each side of your head. Twist the two sections of hair as you pull them back around the head so they eventually lay flat. Then you won’t have any kind of bulge in the back.
