Q: ” I have a question. Have you ever heard of pore minimizers? Is this a good idea, since it basically gets in there and sits in your pores to make them look smaller? Am I wrong about this? Also, is there anything you would recommend differently than a a pore minimizer, like maybe a concealer or liquid foundation? Thanks.” –Jenny F.”
Great question Jenny. You are correct. Pore minimizers do great an illusion of smaller pores. They don’t actually shrink the pores. I would recommend using an astringent or toner that’s right for your type of skin, on a cotton pad after cleansing your face. This removes any excess dirt and/or makeup that may be remaining in your pores. Therefore, you can use a pore minimizer and treat it as another step to your makeup routine:) otherwise, moisturize after the toner and apply your concealer accordingly followed by your mineral foundation on a powder (Kabuki) brush for a smooth even skintone.
Hope that helps:)
