Is it really a fashion faux-pas to wear white after labor day, or is that outdated?

Good news—it's the 21st century! That means (almost) anything goes and it's just as appropriate to wear white in the winter as it is to wear black in the summer. Wear whatever makes you feel beautiful!

  • It's not the color that should be the issue

  • With the expansion of colors it is indeed a matter of preference, however the choice of before/after Labor Day and then before/after Easter becomes a matter of material. The heavier materials in winter and lighter materials in summer, of course there are those materials that cross into any season, such as denim.

  • Wear what makes you happy!

  • I grew up in the South - where I believe these silly rules were first applied. Some older women look at me as if I should know better..but I love wearing snowy white on Christmas!
