Staying fit at work

 

Whether you live to work, or work to live…for most of us, staying fit doesn't mesh too well with our work environment. Here are a few tips that can help keep you healthy (while keeping your job!)

  1. Standing burns more calories than sitting, so stand up while you're on the phone, chatting with co-workers or even eating lunch.
  2. Need a break? Take a walk instead of hitting break room.
  3. Try and work in a little exercise into your commute. If you can, walk or bike to work. If you ride the bus, get off a few stops early and walk the rest of the way, or if you drive, park as far away as possible.
