The table is really nice but in the book it looks like it could fit into a bedroom sitting area. Nope! it's too big and it fits well on my patio. Back to the drawing board.

When I ordered this, I was first attracted to the smoked look of the glasstop, which I guess is an illusion since the actual item has a clear tempered-glass top, but it's still beautiful. So much the better that I was able to get this nice piece at a price that suited my budget at over half off + another $30 for shipping. Makes me appreciate it so much more. I have a live plant as the centerpiece and sometimes watering it makes water seep out onto the tempered glass-top which dries to a flatgrey stain. But a quick touch up with a dusting cloth and some glass cleaner quickly restores the polished beauty. This is one piece of furnishing that doesn't look or feel chintzy, shoddy, or worse, despite where it's made -- so far at least. For my money, it wins the cigar. Yes, I would recommend the table to a friend.
